Hello guys! One of the first skin care products my dermatologist recommended to me were from the brand La Roche Posay. Before that, I had been using different brands that probably weren’t the best ones for my skin. Once I began using La Roche Posay I saw the change in my skin: it looked healthier and glowing. These are the products that have helped me get where I am today skin wise:

EFFACLAR • Purifying Foaming Gel:

Honestly one of the best face wash out there. A small drop goes a long way. It gives you a deep cleanse. Since it is a gel it won’t dry out your skin or leave that stingy feeling in your eyes. I normally use this one on a daily basis when I’m taking a shower.

• Use as a daily, facial cleanser for oily skin.
• Wet face with lukewarm water and apply a small amount of gel, massaging the skin gently to form a rich lather. Leave on for a few moments and rinse thoroughly with water.

ANTHELIOS XL • Ultra-Leger:

Growing up I would only use sunblock when going to the beach or pool. I never thought about the importance of using it every day. Four years ago my dermatologist explained to me that even on rainy days it was really important to apply sunblock because the sun could still cause damage one way or the other. Since that day it has been part of my daily routine to wear sunblock. I love this one because it is translucent and light. It doesn’t leave a white film, so it is perfect for you to put on before applying makeup. Also, it has a high SPF, which is also a plus!

• Apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure.
• Shake well before use. Suitable to use under make-up.
• Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating. Immediately after towel drying, at least every 2 hours.

PIGMENTCLAR • Daily Dark Spot Diminishing Moisturizer

I was looking for something that could even out my skin. The few breakouts I have had left a mark. I found this cream and decided to try it. I use it day and night. It has been slowly evening out my skin tone. I have been using this one for almost a year.

EAU THERMALE • Thermal Spring Water Sensitive Skin

I got it since it came in a package with the sunblock. Even though I haven’t used it constantly like the other products, I’ve liked its results. My skin feels refresh, which is what I like the most, and sooths my skin in Panama weather. I like to use it to prepare my skin before getting major makeup done and before going to sleep. I feel like it tightens it.

• Ideal for daily use instead of a toner.
• After a mild cleansing, spray 8 to 12 inches from face then leave on 2-3 minutes. Gently pat off excess spray without rubbing.
• Use as often as desired, at home, at the office, or on the go.

LIPIKAR • Syndet AP+

Even though I only have the sample size of this one I wanted to mention it. I have used it a few times and it leaves my skin soft and clean.

• Body shower gel for babies, children, and adults with very dry skin.
• Also suitable for:
• Sensitive, very dry, irritated and itchy skin that causes scratching.
• Skin with the atopic tendency.
• The scalp of the baby and the treatment of the milk crust.

LIPIKAR • Fluide

At first, I only used it at night but I have been using it every other day during the daytime. This is a light body cream that provides deep humectation. I feel my skin absorbs it quickly and it stays soft without any signs of achiness.

Al crecer solo usaba bloqueador solar cuando iba a la playa o a la piscina. Nunca pensé en la importancia de usarlo todos los días. Hace cuatro años, mi dermatólogo me explicó que, incluso el día estuviese lluvioso, era realmente importante aplicar protector solar porque el sol todavía estaba presente de una forma u otra. Desde ese día, ha sido parte de mi rutina diaria usar protector solar. Amo este porque es translúcido y ligero. No deja una capa blanca, por lo que es perfecto para aplicar antes de aplicar maquillaje. Además, tiene un alto SPF que también es un plus!
