You might remember this look from a few weeks ago. After writing that post I began to think why blazers have become so big lately. The ones inspired by menswear are stealing the show, which are very similar to the blazers worn during the 90s.
The blazer has mostly been associated with men wardrobe. As they advance the professional ladder, the more they have to wear a crisp suit every single day. This has made us associate the blazer with professionalism, power, style and more. That is why you should include a blazer in your 2018 wardrobe and I will tell you why:
A Blazer shows Professionalism
Usually people with high positions especially men have to wear suits every single day to their job. Getting to those positions usually means that you are trustworthy and a hard worker. We are so used to making that association, that when we see someone wearing one we immediately think about this.
A Blazer gives you Power
I have always heard that how you dress can make you feel in a certain way. Dress up when you are sad or sick; put on something that makes you feel powerful when you go to an interview or an important meeting and so on. No matter what you wear, if you layer a blazer over it, you will elevate your look, mood, and spirit.

It’s not about following the latest trends but about looking good. Whether you wear it over a t-shirt or a button up shirt it could be the final detail you need to complete your outfit and looking great.

Puede que recuerdes este outfit de hace algunas semanas. Después de escribir ese post comencé a pensar por qué los blazers se han vuelto tan famosos últimamente. Los inspirados en la moda masculina son el centro de atención. Estos son muy similares a los blazers usados durante los años 90.
El blazer ha sido asociado principalmente con el guardarropa de los hombres. A medida que avanzan profesionalmente, se les requiere que estén en saco y corbata mas a menudo.
