How to wear sheer tops

Sheer tops are not part of a new trend but the way we wear them has changed. This was made clear when I was looking through some old pictures. It was very common to wear a tank top under sheer tops, even when you went clubbing. This slowly began to change into pieces that provided less coverage. Of course, I’m not talking about everyone because a lot of people still opt for the tank top. The question is how to wear lingerie under sheer pieces in a stylish and subtle way? I usually try to be mindful of these three things:

Color. First, you need to be careful about the color of the undergarment. After years of looking for it, I finally found a nude bra that matches my skin tone. They are a great option to wear with white shirts and light tone sheer tops like this one. It will be perfect for the “barely there” look. For darker tones go for a black bra.

Design. The design and style of the bra are very important factors. I usually choose bras that are a bit wider when wearing a sheer top. This will provide support and a good amount of coverage. You will still look sexy without baring everything out.

Style. As I do with crop tops, I like to wear a high waist bottom or a leather jacket when wearing this type of top. It helps to balance your outfit out. For work wear a blazer on top. Once you get out, take it off and change the accessories. It will be the perfect way to transition your 9-5 outfit into a happy hour attire!

El uso de tops translucidas no es nada nuevo, pero la forma en que las usamos ha cambiado. Esto quedó claro hace algunos días que veía unas fotos viejas. Era muy común usar un top de tiras debajo, incluso cuando ibas a la discoteca. Esto lentamente comenzó a cambiar con piezas que daban menos cobertura. Claro esta, no todo el mundo lo ha hecho pero sí ha ido cambiando poco a poco. ¿La pregunta es cómo usar lencería debajo de ellos de una manera elegante y sutil?

Color. Primero, escoge con cuidado el color de la ropa interior. Después de años de buscar uno, finalmente encontré un brassier en un tono similar al de mi piel. Es la opción perfecta para usar con camisas blancas y tops transparentes de tonos claros como este. Será perfecto para ese look nude que buscas. Para tops en tonos más oscuros elige un bra negro.

Diseño. El diseño y el estilo del bra son muy importantes. Me gusta usar aquellos que son un poco más anchos cuando llevo un top transparente. Esto te dará buen soporte y una buena cantidad de cobertura. Te verás sexy sin mostrar todo.

Estilo. Al igual que como hago con los crop tops, me gusta usar un pantalón o falda high waist o una chaqueta de cuero cuando llevo este tipo de top. Esto ayuda a balancear tu outfit. Si estás buscando cambiar tu look de oficina a la noche, ponte un blazer para el día. Una vez sales del trabajo te lo quitas, cambias los accesorios y estarás lista para la fiesta!
