Long vests are one of the major fashion trends inthe street style world. You will find them in everystore in many variations. I wanted one that had a classic and timeless design, that even when it is not trending anymore it will still look current. I found this one in a recent trip to the mall. It had all the characteristics I was looking for. Originally I wanted a black vest but I felt this white one would give a fresh touch to every outfit I style it with. I have several styling ideas for this one but below I leave you the ones I chose for this week!
Office: The vest will dress up any of your office outfits. Here I show you a monochrome look but don’t be afraid to mix up colors. Pieces such as a long sleeve shirt and straight leg pants would also make a great combo with this vest.
Day to day: A couple of weeks ago I brought you styling ideas for the blazer. The vest will be an excellent option if you want to change things up and very useful for the summer. Distressed shorts and a basic shirt would also be another option for your day-to-day style.
Night: I wanted to add an element that gave a pop of color to the look. There are so many ways in which you can style it. Distressed dark jeans and heels are one option. If you are bold you can close it up and wear it as a dress (with shorts underneath of course).
The options are infinite. As it is with a lot of pieces just use your creativity and you will see how versatile long vests are!

Hola chicos!
Actualmente los chalecos son una de las mayores tendencias de la moda. Los podrán encontrar en todas las tiendas en diferentes estilos. Yo estaba en la búsqueda de uno que tuviese un diseño clásico y atemporal, así cuando pasara de moda todavía se viera bien. Pude encontrar este en un trip reciente al mall. Me encanto porque reunía todas las características que tenía en mente, siendo el color la única diferencia. Originalmente quería uno en negro pero me pareció que este blanco le daría un toque fresco a mis outfits y sería mas versátil. Tengo un sin número de ideas de cómo usarlo. Abajo les dejo unas cuantas.
Oficina: Los chalecos estilizaran sus looks para la oficina. Aquí les traje uno monocromático pero no tengan miedo de mezclar colores. Otra opción excelente para el trabajo sería una camisa manga larga y un pantalón de corte recto.
Día a día: Hace un par de semanas les traje ideas de cómo usar un blazer. Los chalecos son una excelente opción para cambiar un poco las cosas. Estos sin duda alguna serán mas frescos que el blazer ajustándose al verano.
Noche: Quería darle un toque de color al look pero hay tantas formas en las que lo pueden usar. Pueden darle un upgrade al look anterior con un jeans roto oscuro y unos tacones o si se atreven pueden cerrar el chaleco y usarlo como si fuera un traje (con un shorts abajo por supuesto!).
Las opciones son infinitas. Al igual que con muchas otras piezas solo tienen que usar su creatividad y verán cuan versátiles son los chalecos.
