Summer Survivor

Hello guys!

On Monday I was telling you that I will probably stop wearing summer dresses soon.  I know there are many ways I can still wear them during winter (and I probably will try some of them) but it’s not the same. Whatever way we try to wear them, they end up looking completely different. One type of dress that won’t is the long summer dress. I got this one a couple of months ago for a great price. Despite my love/hate relationship with white dresses I knew I had to get this one. Summer ended and it still had its price tag. This is why I decided begin the layers game. Long summer dresses should be an item you should keep out during winter and if you are travelling you should totally consider bringing. Think about it – your legs wont freeze since you can wear a thick pair of tights and/or jeans underneath. You can consider wearing a long sleeve and cover it up with a leather jacket. If all of this doesn’t keeps you warm enough, you can still add another layer. The dress won’t lose its essence and you will be warm!

El lunes les decía que probablemente pronto dejaría de usar vestiditos. Sé que hay muchas formas en las que los puedo usar en el invierno y quizás pruebe alguna de ellas, pero no es lo mismo. Cualquier forma en la que tratemos de usarlo se verán completamente diferente. Un estilo que no cambiara su esencia son los vestidos largos o túnicas de verano. Este que ven aquí lo compre hace un par de meses y lastimosamente todavía tiene la etiqueta. Los vestidos largos tienen la ventaja que pueden ocultar bastante. Por esto debes considerar dejarlos en tu closet durante el invierno y si viajas, traerlos. No se te congelaran las piernas porque puedes usar jeans y/o calentadores por debajo. De igual forma puedes usar un top ajustado manga larga y una chaqueta de cuero. Si todo esto no te mantiene caliente, puedes optar por añadir otra capa mas. El vestido no perderá su esencia y estarás calientita!
