Hello guys!
Last Saturday I had the great opportunity to host Vacay Chic with Tropical Edge at a store called Fab’rik. In this event I was asked to help style customers that came to their Atlantic Station store. I was really surprised and happy when I received the invitation. It is always nice to see that what you are doing is getting some type of recognition. Since I’m still practically new in Atlanta, I wasn’t too familiar with the store. Once I checked their website I was completely hooked! Most of their pieces have a bohemian chic feel, and now they are receiving new merchandise that targets an even broader range of customers. The best part is that their products are very affordable so you can get a cute outfit for a great price.
Now coming back to the event, I had the opportunity to talk with some of the customers and gave them styling ideas to either a piece they have chosen or for an event they were going. I’m not going to lie, I was EXTREMELY nervous. Doing this is completely out of my comfort zone but I’m glad I had that experience. If you don’t take advantage of the opportunities that come around you will always be asking “what if?” Plus everything is a learning experience. I did have a great time last Saturday and can’t wait to see what new opportunities come my way thanks to this blog!

El sábado pasado tuve la oportunidad de amenizar un evento llamado “Vacay Chic with Tropical Edge” con un almacén de la localidad llamado Fab’rik. En él tuve la oportunidad de darle tips a los clientes que iban a su sucursal de Atlantic Station. Fue una grata sorpresa cuando recibí la invitación. Se siente súper saber que a otros les gusta tu trabajo. Como todavía soy prácticamente nueva en la ciudad, no estaba 100% familiarizada con el almacén. A penas revise su website quede encantada! Muchas de sus piezas tienen un estilo bohemio chic y ahora están recibiendo nueva mercancía la cual es mucho mas diversa y cubre un mayor tipo de gustos. Lo mejor es que sus productos son bien accesibles así que puedes conseguir un buen outfit a un increíble precio.
Regresando al evento, tuve la oportunidad de hablar con algunos de sus clientes y darles ideas de cómo usar alguna prenda que habían escogido o darles recomendaciones de qué usar para cierto evento. No les voy a mentir, estaba BIEN nerviosa. Estas cosas están totalmente fuera de mi zona de confort pero me alegra haber tenido la experiencia. Si no le sacas ventaja a las oportunidades que vienen hacia ti siempre te preguntarás “qué hubiese pasado si…?” Además toda experiencia sirve de aprendizaje. El sábado pasado fue increíble y me emociona las oportunidades que llegarán gracias a este blog!
