Travel Panama: Playa Caracol Rentals

You have probably noticed that we are in the middle of summer here in Panama and I’m enjoying that to the fullest. A few weeks ago I had the opportunity of going to Playa Caracol Rentals, a place where you can wake up with the sound of the sea. This is not a hotel. Playa Caracol Rentals offer apartments for rent. Is your home away from home. They have fully furnished 2 and 3 bedroom apartments.

Where it is?

Playa Caracol Rentals is located in Chame, which is about an hour and a half from Panama City. It is a great way to have a weekend getaway without having to go too far. Nearby you can explore the mountains, rivers and much more.

How do I get there?

To get there is extremely easy. We had the assistance of Lumo Tours who provided an excellent service, but you can easily reach there in any type of car. The road is pretty well built.

What can you do?

One of the main things you can do is relax. You know I love places that are not packed and allow you to keep your mind away from things. They have a pool where you can sunbathe, read a book or just have a good time.  The beach is beautiful. One of the few white sand beaches I have been close to the city. It is perfect for those who love to surf. The waters were a little bit rough when we went, so it is a beach you have to be safe in. It is perfect to practice water sports. You can also go fishing, kayak and kitesurf. End the day with a walk by the beach. It is a great place to escape.

And the food?

Since you are staying in an apartment, you have everything to prepare your own meals. You can also eat at the Surf Club. They had salads, hamburgers and more. It is a good option to have something quick while you enjoy your getaway.

Probablemente hayas notado que estamos en pleno verano aquí en Panamá y lo estoy disfrutando al máximo. Hace unas semanas tuve la oportunidad de ir a Playa Caracol Rentals, un lugar donde puedes despertarte con el sonido del mar. Esto no es un hotel. Playa Caracol Rentals ofrece apartamentos en alquiler. Tu casa lejos de casa. Tienen apartamentos completamente amueblados de 2 y 3 habitaciones.

¿Donde es?

Playa Caracol Rentals se encuentra en Chame, a aproximadamente una hora y media de la ciudad de Panamá. Es una excelente manera de tener una escapada de fin de semana sin tener que ir demasiado lejos. En el área encontrarás montañas, ríos y mucho más.

¿Como llego allá?

Llegar a Playa Caracol Rentals es extremadamente fácil. Contamos con la asistencia de Lumo Tours, que brindó un excelente servicio, pero puedes llegar fácilmente en cualquier tipo de automóvil. El camino está bastante bien construido.

¿Qué puedes hacer?

Una de las cosas principales que puedes hacer es relajarte. Sabes que me encantan los lugares que no están llenos y que te permiten alejarte de la vida cotidiana. Tienen una piscina donde puedes tomar sol, leer un libro o simplemente pasar un buen rato. La playa es hermosa. Una de las pocas playas de arena blanca que he estado cerca de la ciudad. Es perfecto para los amantes del surf. Las aguas estaban un poco agitadas cuando fuimos, así que es una playa en la que debes tener cuidado. Es perfecta para practicar deportes acuáticos. También puedes ir de pesca, kayak y kitesurf. Termina el día con un paseo por la playa. Es un excelente lugar para descansar.

¿Y la comida?

Como te hospedas en un apartamento, tienes todo para preparar sus propias comidas. También puedes comer en el Surf Club. Ofrecían ensaladas, hamburguesas y más. Es una buena opción tener algo rápido mientras disfrutas de tus vacaciones.
