Even though the rainy season has begun in Panama, that doesn’t mean we have stopped seeing beautiful sunny days. In fact, we still have so many summer days, more than what you can imagine. Due to this, we can still bare our legs out whenever we want. For those in the north you are officially enjoying summer, which means you can ditch the layers and show some skin. Shorts can be your allies in warmer temperatures. Here are a few ideas on how to wear them.
Go for fabric short options
When we hear about shorts, we are so used to thinking about denim shorts. Try fabric shorts, they tend to not be as hot as denim shorts. Fabric shorts also look dressier than other styles, which will allow you to wear them on different occasions.
Style them with a dressier top
One of my favorite things to do is to take a blouse I’ll wear to the office or a top I’ll use on a night out and style it with shorts. It’s a great way to make your closet more versatile. You’ll be able to dress down your business casual top and wear it a Saturday morning. When it comes to a night out top, it will be a way to wear it during the day.
Under a dress
Wanting to find different ways to wear the dresses you already have? If you have one with buttons on front style it as a tunic. Open the buttons all up to your waist and put on a pair of matching shorts. It will be an easy way to get a casual look that will also help you move freely in your summer activities.

A pesar de que la temporada de lluvias ha comenzado en Panamá, eso no significa que hayamos dejado de ver hermosos días donde reina el sol. De hecho, todavía tenemos muchos días de verano, más de lo que se imaginan. Debido a esto, todavía podemos llevar nuestras piernas al aire cuando queramos. Para aquellos que viven en el norte, oficialmente están disfrutando el verano, lo que significa que pueden deshacerse de las capas y mostrar algo de piel. Cuando oímos hablar de pantalones cortos, estamos tan acostumbrados a pensar en los de jeans. Prueba los shorts de tela. Tienden a no ser tan calientes como los de jeans. Los pantalones cortos de tela también lucen más elegantes, lo que te permitirá usarlos en diferentes ocasiones.
Combínalos con un top mas elegante
Una de mis cosas favoritas es buscar una blusa que me pondré en la oficina o una blusa que usaré para salir de noche y combinarlas con shorts. Es una excelente manera de hacer que tu armario sea más versátil. Podrás usar tu top de oficina de una forma mas casual un sábado por la mañana. De igual forma, es una forma de llevar tu top de fiesta de noche al día.
Debajo de un vestido
¿Quieres encontrar diferentes maneras de usar los vestidos que ya tienes? Si tienes uno con botones en la parte delantera, úsalo como una túnica. Abre los botones hasta la cintura y ponte un par de shorts. Será una manera fácil de obtener un look informal que también los ayudará a moverse libremente en sus actividades de verano.
