Favorite Hair Products for 2018

Hello guys! Taking care of my hair is very important to me. I don’t go too often to the salon, so a lot of the hair care weight is on my hands. To be able to succeed in this task I have taken very seriously what products I use. Of course, I have had some missteps along the way, but we all do when discovering what works and what doesn’t. The products I use are a mix of salon and drugstore products. Some of them are sold here in Panama and the others abroad. For this post, I tried to bring a healthy mix of both. Most of them are about to finish so you know they have been good. Below are some of my favorite hair products up until now.

¡Hola chicos! Cuidar mi cabello es muy importante para mi. No voy muy a menudo al salón, por lo que gran parte del peso del cuidado del cabello está en mis manos. Para poder tener éxito en esta tarea, me he tomado muy en serio los productos que uso. Por supuesto, he tenido algunos errores en el camino, pero todos lo hacemos mientras descubrimos qué funciona y qué no. Los productos que uso son una mezcla de productos de salón y farmacia. Algunos de ellos se venden aquí en Panamá y otros en el extranjero. Para este post, traté de traer una mezcla saludable de ambos. La mayoría de ellos están a punto de terminarse, así que sabes que han sido buenos. A continuación te dejo mis top productos favoritos para el cabello hasta ahora.

L’Oreal EverCreme Sulfate-Free Moisture System Shampoo and Conditioner

I’ve been using this shampoo and conditioner for years now. It is one of the few I feel the effects instantly. As soon as I apply the shampoo I feel how it softens my hair and provides instant hydration. The same effect is seen with the conditioner. Having relaxed hair means I’m constantly looking for products that will moisturize my hair and these two drugstore products do the job.

He estado usando este champú y acondicionador durante años. Es uno de los pocos que siento los efectos al instante. Tan pronto como me aplico el champú, siento cómo suaviza mi cabello y me proporciona una hidratación instantánea. El mismo efecto se ve con el acondicionador. Tener el cabello relajado significa que estoy buscando constantemente productos que lo humecten y estos dos productos de farmacias hacen el trabajo.

OGX Hydrating Macadamia Oil Shampoo

One of my favorite things about the OGX line is that almost all their products are sulfate free. This macadamia one moisturizes, detangles and helps me keep it frizz free. It leaves you with silky and beautiful hair. A plus is that it smells great.

Una de mis cosas favoritas de la línea OGX es que casi todos sus productos están libres de sulfatos. Este de macadamia hidrata, desenreda y me ayuda a mantenerlo libre de frizz. Te deja con un cabello sedoso y hermoso. Otra ventaja es que huele muy bien.

Macadamia Professional Conditioner and Nourishing Moisture Oil Spray

These two salon products are perfect for when you want something that is stronger. The conditioner serves as a deep moisture treatment that will leave your hair very soft and shiny after every use. I try to use it at least once a month and alternate it with my drugstore products. The nourishing moisture oil spray was part of my weekly wash and dry routine. I use it before drying my hair. I sprayed it all on my ends and a bit on the rest of my hair. The spray protects it and helped me avoid breakage.

Estos dos productos de salón son perfectos para cuando quieres algo más fuerte. El acondicionador sirve como un tratamiento de hidratación profunda que dejará tu cabello muy suave y brillante después de cada uso. Trato de usarlo al menos una vez al mes y lo alterno con mis productos de farmacia. El spray fue parte de mi rutina semanal de lavado y secado. Lo uso antes de secarme el pelo. Lo aplico en mis puntas principalmente y un poco en el resto de mi cabello. El spray lo protege y me ayuda a evitar quebraduras.

Crème of Nature Argan Oil Heat Defense Smooth and Shine Polisher

I’m no stranger to Crème of Nature. I have been using their relaxer for a while. It is widely known that argan oil is one of the best products out there for all type of hairs. This product particularly is one of the best they have. One drop is more than enough for your entire hair. After I washed it and dry it, I apply it on my ends and the rest of my hair and then wrap it around. The result is salon looking hair without having to use too much heat.

Ya conocía los productos de Crème of Nature. He estado usando su relajante por un tiempo. Es bien sabido que el aceite de argán es uno de los mejores productos que existen para todo tipo de cabellos. Este producto en particular es uno de los mejores que tienen. Una gota es más que suficiente para todo tu cabello. Después de lavarlo y secarlo lo aplico en las puntas y en el resto de mi cabello y luego me hago tubi tubi. El resultado es un cabello de aspecto de salón sin tener que usar demasiado calor.

Kerastase Masque Therapiste

My second salon type product, this treatment is great if you want silky and shiny hair. I take a little bit from the pot, put it on and leave it for a few minutes with a cap on. The cap helps it penetrate even more. The results are great and it is a great way to protect my hair from the blowout or any heat procedure that will follow.

Mi segundo producto de salón es este tratamiento que es genial si quieres un cabello sedoso y brillante. Tomo un poco del envase, me lo pongo y lo dejo durante unos minutos con una gorra de baño puesta. El gorro lo ayuda a penetrar aún más. Los resultados son excelentes y es una excelente manera de proteger mi cabello del blower o de cualquier procedimiento de calor que me haga.
