Hello guys! The little black dress is a timeless classic. We have all heard, no matter when we were born, that we must have in our closets an LBD. Nowadays so much has changed but this in my honest opinion hasn’t. What changed are the types of LBD we can have as our ultimate basic. Instead of going for the most basic short dress you can reinvent it to different cuts. Here I went for a midi dress with a subtle mermaid cut. Depending on how I style, I can make it perfect for any occasion. The style of the little black dress will change depending on your age, body type, and other factors. Below I leave you a few options for different age groups!
The Little Black Dress for your 20s
Form-fitting LBDs are allowed at this stage. You can also get away with a shorter length (right above the knee) on most cases. On this period play with different designs, shapes, and forms until you find something you love.
The Little Black Dress for your 30s
At this stage worry more about the length. A dress knee length or below the knee will look elegant. Form-fitting designs are still allowed.
The Little Black Dress for your 40s
Many of the rules of your 30s still apply. I recommend looking for a good design that would bring out the best of your body.
The Little Black Dress for your 50s and more
They say the 50s are the new 40s. While a lot of people will prefer to cover up, it is all up to what you feel comfortable in. Just keep in mind that the length should be below the knee.

Hoy en día muchas cosas han cambiado, pero esto en mi honesta opinión no. Lo que ha cambiado son los tipos de LBD que podemos tener como nuestro go-to basic. LBD para los 20
Se permiten LBD ajustados en esta etapa. No te tienes que atener firmemente a las reglas del largo del vestido. Una longitud más corta (justo arriba de la rodilla) en la mayoría de los casos será permitido. Aprovecha para jugar en esta etapa con los diseños y formas hasta encontrar lo que te guste.
LBD para los 30
En esta etapa, preocúpate más por la longitud. Un vestido hasta la rodilla o debajo de la rodilla se verá elegante. Diseños ajustados todavía están permitidos.
LBD para los 40
Muchas de las reglas de los 30 siguen siendo válidas. Recomiendo buscar un buen diseño que demuestre lo mejor de tu cuerpo.
LBD para los 50 y más
Dicen que los 50 son los nuevos 40. Mientras que muchas personas preferirán cubrirse, todo depende de como te sientas cómoda. Solo ten en cuenta que la longitud debe ser debajo de la rodilla.
