When I decided I wanted to shoot this outfit I only thought about how much I liked the print combination and how comfortable it felt. I didn’t take into consideration that I would be under the scorching sun with two layers of clothing. Needless to say, I wasn’t a happy trooper when these pictures were being taken. I had to put my best poker face to get a few good shots. Thankfully I made it through. The most important thing I learned was the following:
Make sure to go for a lightweight blazer when you wear them as a top layer in the tropics.
It’s hard to even consider wearing a second layer in Panama heat, but I have to admit that this is an easy way to add some depth and texture to your outfit. The blazer is one of the trendiest and useful pieces right now but it can be hard to wear it outdoors. If this is what you want to do, go for a lightweight one, whether you want something that can easily transition office hours or that you can wear during the weekend. It can be that final touch you are looking for.

¡Hola chicos!
Cuando decidí que quería tomarle foto a este outfit, solo pensé en cuánto me gustaba la combinación del estampado y lo cómoda que me sentía. No tomé en consideración que estaría bajo un solazo con dos capas de ropa. Ya se imaginarán que no estaba muy feliz cuando me tomaban estas fotos pero puse mi mejor cara para poder obtener un buen resultado. Afortunadamente lo logré. Lo más importante que aprendí fue lo siguiente:
Para outfits que usarás al aire libre, asegúrate de usar un blazer liviano.
Es difícil siquiera considerar usar una segunda capa en el calor de Panamá, pero debo admitir que esta es una manera fácil de agregar un poco de profundidad y textura a su atuendo. Actualmente el blazer es una de las prendas más “in” y útiles, pero puede ser difícil usarlo al aire libre. Si esto es lo que quieres hacer, opta por uno liviano, ya sea que quieras algo que facilite la transición para lo que hagas después de trabajar o que puedas usar durante el fin de semana. Puede ser ese toque final que estás buscando.
