There are many trends that used to be huge fashion no’s and now are seen on every runway and major fashion icon. I have tried some such as fanny packs and others have caught my eye. Belt Bags

Formally known as fanny packs. They were big in the 80s and 90s but then they were frown upon. Its glorious comeback is due to its practicality. The only thing that remains from the classic design is the concept. Everything else took cues of current accessories trends. Use it as a way to cinch your waist and get an hourglass figure.

Color combinations

There was a time when wearing black and brown at the same time was a big no. I even remember a couple years ago advising someone to avoid combining these two colors in one outfit. Now it is very common to see them together. With time I have become more open to unusual color combinations, and the runways have too. If you have any doubts when trying to create unconventional mixes, google color palettes combos to make sure they go together. You’ll be surprised at the number of combinations you can create.

Cropped Trousers

Since I can remember, the only moment it was acceptable to wear ankle length or cropped trouser was during the weekend. Now you can wear them anywhere, whenever you want as long as the needed styling adjustments are done. They have clearly become some of my favorites since they can give you a relaxed, yet professional look.

Jelly Shoes and Accessories

New ways in which to use malleable materials are invented every day. What used to be a childhood memory, has become a trendy accessory. They give your outfit a fun look. The best part is that most of them can be worn with more than one style.

Scrunchies

Who remembers “Beverly Hills, 90210” fashion? Scrunchies were everywhere since they used to be one of the main accessories of every 90s girl. I still remember having a few during my elementary school years. After years of going for minimal options, scrunchies are back to spice up a boring ponytail or top bun. You can find them in different fabrics, which will make your updo look fancier.

As Heidi Klum says “one day you’re in, the next day you’re out”. Fashion is a constant cycle. What do you think will be making a comeback soon?

Hay muchas tendencias que solían ser prohibidas en el mundo de la moda y ahora las puedes encontrar en todas las pasarelas y principales íconos de la moda. He usado algunas y otros me han llamado la atención. Hablemos de las que mas veremos los próximos meses:

Belt Bags

Antes eran conocidos como Fanny packs o cangureras. Eran famosas en los años 80 y 90, pero luego nadie las quería. Su glorioso regreso se debe a su practicidad. Lo único que queda del diseño clásico es el concepto. Todo lo demás ha tomado ideas de las tendencias actuales de accesorios. Úsalas como una forma de ajustar tu top a la cintura.

Combinación de colores

Hubo un tiempo en el que usar negro y marrón al mismo tiempo fue un gran no. Incluso recuerdo que hace un par de años aconsejé a alguien que evitara combinar estos dos colores en un conjunto. Ahora es muy común verlos juntos. Con el tiempo me he vuelto más abierta a combinaciones de colores inusuales, y las pasarelas también lo han hecho. Si tienes alguna duda al intentar crear mezclas no convencionales, busca paletas de colores en Google para ideas de qué colores puedes combinar. Te sorprenderá la cantidad de combinaciones que puedes crear.

Pantalones Cropped

Desde que tengo memoria, el único momento en que era aceptable llevar pantalones al tobillo o cropped era durante el fin de semana. Ahora puedes usarlos en cualquier lugar, cuando quieras, siempre que lo combines apropiadamente para la ocasión. Se han convertido claramente en uno de mis favoritos, ya que puedes darle un aspecto relajado, pero profesional.

Cada día se inventan nuevas formas de utilizar materiales maleables. Lo que solía ser un recuerdo de la infancia, se ha convertido en un accesorio de moda. Le dan a tu atuendo un aspecto divertido. La mejor parte es que la mayoría de ellos se puede usar con más de un outfit.

¿Quién recuerda la moda de “Beverly Hills, 90210”? Scrunchies o colitas gruesas estaban en todas partes ya que solían ser uno de los accesorios principales de cada las chicas de los 90s. Recuerdo haber tenido algunos cuando estaba en primaria. Después de años de irnos por opciones minimalistas, este estilo de cola vuelve para darle vida a una aburrida cola de caballo o a tu torta. Puedes encontrarlos en diferentes telas que harán que te veas más elegante.

Como Heidi Klum dice “one day you’re in, the next day you’re out” (“un día estás dentro, al día siguiente estás fuera”). El mundo de la moda es un ciclo constante. ¿Qué crees que regresará pronto?
