I choose my bra depending on what I wear. I think there is a moment to wear a lace bra, a push-up bra and so on. Last week I talked about the underwear I think every woman should have and quickly explained when each type should be used. I named the t-shirt bra, bustier, and pasties or stick on bras. Now the question is when to use them.
Push Up Bra
This is the most famous one since we all (or at least most of us!) need a little help to get that full cleavage. I don’t wear this type of bra every day since I believe it could be too much work for my breast. The push up bra is the best option when you are wearing a top with a V-neck (like the one I have on in this post). Where I’m wearing it to is also important. For example, if I wore the top on this post in a business setting (see this look), I would avoid the push-up bra since it wouldn’t look professional.
T-shirt bra
This is the day-to-day bra. You can wear it with everything. It is one of the most comfortable styles out there. This makes it perfect for your 9 to 5 job, for school, college, traveling and much more.
Stick on Bra
This style is for special situations. They are perfect for tops with extra back cleavage. You can also style them with cami tops since they usually have a loser fit, which leaves more expose skin.
Bustier or Balconette
Whether you have big or small breasts, I advise you to get this bra when in need of going strapless. The bottom straps are usually wider compared to other bras, which provides a better grip. This helps me avoid having to be pulling my bra up constantly like it happens with many other bras.

El sostén que usaré lo escojo dependiendo de lo que llevo puesto. Creo que hay un momento para usar un sostén de encaje, un sujetador push-up, etc. La semana pasada hablé sobre las piezas de ropa interior que creo que todas las mujeres deberían tener y expliqué muy rápidamente cuándo debería usarse cada tipo. Les hablé del t-shirt bra, el bustier y los adheribles. Ahora la pregunta es cuándo usarlos.
Push-Up Bra
Este es el más famoso ya que todas (¡o al menos la mayoría de nosotras!) necesitamos un poco de ayuda para obtener el escote deseado. No uso este tipo de sostén todos los días, ya que creo que podría ser un poco extenuante para mi pecho. Los push-up bra son los mejores cuando llevas un top con cuello en V (como el que tengo en esta publicación). A donde lo estaré usando también es importante. Por ejemplo, si me puse el top que uso en este post para un look de oficina (ver este look), yo evitaría utilizar el push-up bra ya que no se vería profesional.
T-shirt Bra
Es perfecto para el uso diario. Puedes usarlo con todo. Es uno de los estilos más cómodos que hay. Esto lo hace perfecto para tu trabajo, escuela, universidad, viajes y mucho más.
Bra Adherible
Este estilo es para situaciones especiales. Son perfectos para usarlos con los tops con escote en la espalda. Las blusas de tiras holgadas también serían perfectas ya que por su fit dejan mas piel expuesta.
Bustier o Balconette
No importa si tienes senos grandes o pequeños, este bra es el mejor tipo para aquellos tops con los que necesites un strapless. Las tiras inferiores suelen ser más anchas en comparación con otros bras, lo que proporciona más seguridad. Esto me ayuda a evitar tener que estar subiéndome el bra constantemente como sucede con muchos otros sujetadores.
