Hello guys!
Day 7 was a touristic day. I won’t talk about it today since I’m preparing something that you will see later! Day 8 was full of activities. That morning I had to take care of some personal errands before starting with fashion week activities. After rushing back home to change I headed downtown to Skylight Clarkson Square for the first show. After some unexpected events, I was able to get to Zang Toi runway.
For more than 20 years he has dressed men and women of all ages with the most exquisite designs. My outfit for that day was inspired by his Fall 2017 collection which had a lot of business attire inspired pieces. The collection for Spring 2018 took a different approach. This runway transported us to a vacation in the Mediterranean. Every piece was full of movement with vibrant colors and the designs had a touch of the 60s mod era.
After this runway, I was lucky enough to see Marcel Ostertag Spring 2018 runway. The brand of German origins has been established for a little more than 10 years. Marcel Ostertag collection had a lot of transparencies and different prints in designs that reminded me of the 70s. Each piece can be styled in more than one way and could easily transition from day to night. Perfect for today’s modern woman. The sheer pieces had my heart at first but what struck my eye were the sparkling pieces. The color will favor all types of skin tones and the designs all type of body types.
Anyways this is all for New York Fashion Week. Next week I will be bringing you some tips I learned that I will definitely be doing for next year fashion week!

En el séptimo día me dedique a turistear. No voy a hablar de ello hoy, ya que les estoy preparando algo que verán próximamente! Día 8 estuvo lleno de actividades. Esa mañana me encargué de varios mandados antes de comenzar con las actividades de la semana de la moda. Después de ir rápidamente a casa para cambiarme, me dirigí a Skylight Clarkson Square para el primer show. Después de algunos eventos inesperados, pude presenciar la pasarela de Zang Toi.
Durante más de 20 años Zang Toi ha vestido a hombres y mujeres de todas las edades con los diseños más exquisitos. Mi atuendo para ese día fue inspirado por su colección de otoño de 2017 la cual tenía sacos y pantalones similares a los que usarías para la oficina. La colección para la primavera de 2018 adoptó un enfoque diferente. Esta pasarela nos transportó a unas vacaciones en el Mediterráneo. Cada pieza estaba llena de movimiento con colores vibrantes y los diseños tenían un toque del movimiento “mod” de los años 60.
Después de esta pasarela, tuve la suerte de ver la colección de Marcel Ostertag para primavera/verano 2018. La marca de origen alemán ha estado establecida por un poco más de 10 años. Su colección tenía un montón de transparencias y diferentes estampados. Los diseños me recordaron a los años 70. Cada pieza se puede combinar más de una forma y podría fácilmente ir de día a noche. Perfecto para la mujer de hoy. Las piezas con transparencias me llamaron la atención inicialmente, pero las que me cautivaron fueron las que estaban llenas de brillo. El color favorecerá todo tono de piel y cuerpo.
Esto es todo para la Semana de la Moda de Nueva York. La próxima semana voy a traerles algunas cosas que aprendí que definitivamente voy a tener en cuenta el próximo año!
