Hello guys!
I almost gave up on writing a daily post. Day 2 was so crazy that when I was finally able to wind down (11:00 p.m.) I barely had the energy to remove my makeup. Add to that a terrible migraine that decided to make a stellar appearance. It was a crazy day and now you will see why!
My day began early. I had to take care of some personal things and then around noon, I began getting ready for the afternoon events. I was really excited because this was a show I was able to get in because of my own sweat and effort! You can imagine receiving that RSVP was the highlight of the end of August. Yesterday there were some up and downs but I was able to make it to the show. The brand is called Chromat. I discovered them a few months ago in one of Deepica Mutyala InstaStory. She went to a party they were throwing and wore one of their pieces. After that, I saw them in a magazine and in Eva Chen‘s InstaStory (that is how I discover brands in this modern age!). The founder of the brand is Becca McCharen-Tran. One of the things that made me obsessed with them is that they had people in every size and shape. Nowadays brands say they are all-inclusive but only a few actually are. Their architectural inspired pieces are made to flatter a women body without conforming to any social stereotypes.
After that show, I went to get a bite to eat and to relax before heading to my next event. Style Collective was having a blogger and brand meet up at Inside Park. The weather was AMAZING so that with a glass of Rosé was actually a great way to spend my evening. I was able to meet amazing bloggers and vloggers from different parts of the U.S. each with their own personal style and loving personalities. It was the perfect way to end the day. Anyway, let’s see what day 3 brings!
P.S. These pictures are from my “1-minute celebrity moment”. Nile asked me if he could take some shots. Of course I said yes and literally 5 seconds after he started I stumbled in middle of the street… oh well! He got some good ones!

Casi me rindo con esto de escribir un post diario. El segundo día fue tan ajetreado que cuando finalmente termino (11:00 p.m.) apenas tenía energía para quitar mi maquillaje. Añade a eso una migraña terrible que decidió hacer una aparición estelar a eso de las 10:00p.m. Fue un día de locos y ahora verás por qué!
Mi día comenzó temprano. Tuve que ocuparme de unos asuntos personales y luego alrededor del mediodía, empecé a prepararme para los eventos de la tarde. Yo estaba muy emocionada porque este fue un show que pude conseguir gracias a mi propio sudor y esfuerzo! Recibir el RSVP para este show fue una de las mejores noticias de agosto. Ayer después de algunos altibajos, pude llegar al show de Chromat. Los descubrí hace unos meses en un InstaStory de Deepica Mutyala. Ella fue a una fiesta y llevaba una de sus piezas. Después de eso, los vi en una revista y en el Insta de Eva Chen (¡así descubro marcas en estos tiempos) La fundadora de la marca es Becca McCharen-Tran. Una de las cosas que me encanto de ellos es que tenían gente de todos los tamaños y formas. Hoy en día las marcas dicen que son inclusivas, pero sólo unas cuantas realmente lo son. Sus piezas con inspiración arquitectónica son creadas para realzar el cuerpo femenino sin regirse a ningún estereotipo social.
Después de esa pasarela, fui a comer algo y a relajarme antes de ir a mi próximo evento. Style Collective estaba teniendo un “meet up” de bloggers en Inside Park. El clima estaba increíble, así que acompañado con una copa de Rosé tuve una tremenda velada. Conocí bloggers y vloggers de diferentes partes de los Estados Unidos, cada una con su propio estilo personal y personalidades. Fue la manera perfecta de terminar el día. De todos modos, veamos lo que trae el día 3!
P.D. Estas fotos son parte de mi minuto de fama. Nile me pregunto si podía tomar unas cuantas fotos y claro que le dije que sí. No sería yo si no me tropiezo en medio de la calle literalmente 5 segundos después de que empezamos a tomar las fotos! Lo bueno es que aún así salieron increíbles las fotos!
