In one of my first style videos I made reference on how easy it is to style monochromatic looks. I know it can be intimidating to do so but I think this is because a lot of us are scared of using only one color when getting dressed, especially if it is a bright color as orange. I’ve tried the all white look (it is one of my favorites – 1, 2), but since we are in summer I thought it would be great to style a different color. Even though the top it is not the exact color as the short, I was still able to get the look. In order to get a monochromatic look, you don’t need to wear the exact same color from head to toe. The style can be perfectly achieved by using pieces that are in the same color spectrum. As a result, you will still be able to get a stylish look in a matter of seconds!

En uno de mis primeros videos de estilo les hablé de lo fácil que era usar un look monocromático. Sé que puede ser un poco intimidante pero creo que esto se debe a que mucho de nosotros no concebimos la idea de usar un solo color de pies a cabeza, en especial si es uno tan vibrante como el naranja. Ya les he traído looks completos de blanco (que es uno de mis favoritos – 1, 2) pero como estamos en medio verano me pareció que sería una buena idea hacer algo con un poco mas de color. A pesar de que el top no es exactamente del mismo tono que el short, aún así pude lograr el look. Para conseguir un look monocromático no es necesario que los tonos de las piezas que vas a usar sean exactamente el mismo. Al usar tonos similares puedes conseguir el look que igual se verá bien en cuestión de segundos!
