Since we are in the middle of summer my view has shift from knits to swimwear. As I stroll around many websites I began to think how much swimwear design has change. From the dressy-conservative swimwear on the early 1900’s to the one piece and the skimpy bikinis that reigned for years, it looks like we have finally got to a full circle. One-piece are one of the biggest trends and along side we can find bikinis with intricate cuts and designs. All the past trends have served as great inspiration on my last bathing suit purchases. I have gone for options that can pass for a bodysuit if worn with the right bottoms as well as bikinis that are everything but ordinary. Print wise I have cover all the “must have” with the all black suit and the colorful and printed styles. All of them have caught everyone’s attention (on the right way) but I have to say this one is my favorite! The fact that it screams jet set and can be worn to all type of summer events takes it to the top of my list. Make sure to have a bathing suit that you can wear as a crop top paired with dressy trouser or that can pass as a bodysuit as I did here. It will be perfect if you have a busy summer day. A color block bathing suit is definitely missing in my repertoire and it’s probably what I will go for in my next hunt!

Como estamos en el medio del verano mis compras han cambiado de suéteres a vestidos de baño. Mientras veía diferentes páginas web me puse a pensar cuanto han cambiado los vestidos de baño. En un periodo de 100 años han existido opciones bien conservativas al igual que bikinis reveladores. Ahora nuevamente comenzamos el ciclo de una forma moderna. Esto ha servido de inspiración para mis últimas compras. Entre ellas han estado opciones que parecen enterizos al igual que bikinis. He optado por vestidos de baño en tonos oscuros (los cuales son un “must”) y por otras opciones mas coloridas y con estampados. Todas han llamado la atención (de la forma correcta) pero tengo que decir que este es mi favorito. El hecho de que grita jet set y puede ser utilizado en diferentes tipos de eventos de verano lo lleva al top de mi lista. Es imprescindible tener un vestido de baño como este que pueda pasar como “bodysuit” o uno que pueda ser utilizado como crop top con un pantalón de vestir. Un vestido de baño de varios colores es lo único que me falta y probablemente iré por uno en mi próxima búsqueda!
