One item we all have in our closets by now is an off the shoulder top. If my memory doesn’t fail me, this was the first off the shoulder top I got. I wasn’t 100% sold with the trend so I wanted to go in slowly. That is why I opted for this top. When considering trying a new trend my first tip is to go for the basics. Neutral tones like white and black are perfect introductory pieces. Another thing I recommend is to stick to the simplest cut the top has. By doing so you make sure that you have a piece that you can style in more than one-way. It will also ensure that you are getting a timeless piece. In the future, when off the shoulders are “out of style” you can still continue wearing them. These tips apply with all type of clothing. Start with basics. If further down you fall in love with the trend, you can get more intricate pieces that will be an accessory by themselves!

Una pieza la cual me encanta son los off the shoulder. Si mi memoria no me falla, este fue el primer top en ese estilo que conseguí. No estaba 100% convencida de la tendencia por lo que no quería nada muy elaborado. Un consejo cuando quieren empezar a usar una nueva tendencia es que la primera pieza que compres sea sencilla. Elige colores neutrales tales como el blanco o el negro. Otro tip es optar por una pieza que tenga un corte sencillo. Al implementar estos dos tips conseguirás una pieza que puedes usar en mas de una forma y en diversas ocasiones inclusive cuando ya no este de moda. Estos consejos son aplicables para todo tipo de ropa. Comienza con elementos básicos. Ya cuando estas segura que te encanta la tendencia puedes optar por elementos mas elaborados.

Además, en general, en mi caso, cuando compro algo barato (que es lo que hago cuando es una pieza muy trendy) lo compro en blanco porque no se nota tanto si el acabado no es muy bueno 😉

Exacto! El blanco o el negro son los mejores tonos para simular que el acabado es mas mejor de lo que en realidad es!
