Stripes on Stripes

Hello guys!

In past posts I have shown you how I mix prints. I usually do two totally different prints (stripes and floral or stripes and geoprints). A lot of brands are now taking out cute ensembles with only one major print to focus on and I wanted to try it with pieces I already had in my closet. When planning this outfit I looked for pieces that had stripes. Since the ones I chose are almost the same color there’s no way you could go wrong with it. I have to admit I was scared at first but loved the result. It looked effortless and is perfect for the summer.

If you want to do an outfit with one major print (floral on floral, stripes on stripes or other) the most important thing you have to be sure of is to use pieces that are in the same family color. This will unify your outfit and will make it easy for you.

Hola chicos!

En posts pasados les he mostrado como mezclo estampados. Por lo general usaba dos estampados distintos como líneas y flores o líneas y estampados geométricos. Muchas marcas han sacado conjuntos que solo tienen un tipo de estampado y quería probarlo con piezas que ya tenía en mi closet. Me decidí por hacer un outfit con estampado de líneas. Me decidí por blanco y azul oscuro ya que no podía equivocarme con ese combo. Tengo que confesarles que tenía miedo al inicio pero me encantó el resultado. Un look sencillo, perfecto para el verano.

Si quieres hacer un outfit con un solo print, ya sea floral, líneas u otro lo mas importantes es que busques piezas que tengan la misma gama de colores. Esto unificará tu outfit y lo hará mas fácil para ti.
