Hello guys!
Last week I had the pleasure to go to Montego Bay, Jamaica. It was Carnavales here in Panama and because of this we had almost the whole week off. My mom and I decided to take the opportunity to get out of the country and relax. Even though my great grandparents are from Jamaica, it was my first time visiting. I definitely want to go back. Besides the beauty of their beaches, the warmth and happiness that Jamaicans exude is amazing. This kept me with a smile the entire trip!
Despite it rained a lot I have to say I enjoyed my time there. While doing research of what we could do during our stay one of the things that was on top of my list was zip lining. I’m not the adventurous type but I have always found things like that fun. I decided to conquer my fear of heights and do it. OMG it was the best thing ever and not as scary as I thought. It felt so liberating! We also were able to visit Bob Marley town, Nine Mile. The view from this little town that was high on the mountains was astonishing. It was interesting to see and hear about the legacy of this legend from people who were from the town were he lived.
I definitely have a long list of things to do next time I visit Jamaica. Hopefully it happens pretty soon!

Hola chicos!
La semana pasada tuve el placer de tomar unas pequeñas vacaciones en Montego Bay, Jamaica. Como teníamos casi toda la semana libre por Carnavales, mi mamá y yo decidimos tomar la oportunidad para salir del país y relajarnos. A pesar de que mis bis abuelos son de este hermoso país, era la primera vez que visitaba. Me encantó y quiero volver! Además de la belleza de sus playas, la calidez y alegría de su gente me mantuvo con una sonrisa durante todo el viaje!
Llovió bastante pero pude disfrutar mi estadía. Antes de irnos hice mi pequeña investigación de que podíamos hacer allá y en el top de mi lista puse hacer zip lining. Ojo soy BIEN miedosa pero este tipo de cosas siempre me han atraído. Deje a un lado mi miedo a las alturas y tengo que decir que no me arrepiento para nada y quiero volver hacerlo! Otro lugar que pudimos visitar fue el pueblo en el que vivió Bob Marley, Nine Mile. La vista que tuve desde ahí fue bella. Fue interesante oír y ver el legado de esta leyenda por la gente que vive en el pueblo en el que él vivió.
Tengo una lista larga de cosas que quiero hacer cuando vuelva. Ojala sea pronto!
